Our husky/coyote mix was named K'eyush because she looked like a bear cub when she was 5-6 weeks old. We also say it the way Dena'ina say it. I was surprised to see it listed here as a male name. Bear cubs are both male and female. We love Alaska, the people, the land and the history. We're now looking for a kitty name.
