Jethro was a simmilar "southern name" to Goober & one of our vet assistants have 3 dogs named... Leroy, Jethro & Gibbs. Hmmm, Must be a fan of "NCIS"! I almost named Jethro... "Bart" after Bart Simpson! (But, he is too well
behaved to have been given that name)! He is the best companion to date,(thanks to what I have learned) from my past Beagles!

Jethro is a great hunting dog and loves to fish! He is the "end product" of a very well trained hound that has learned to avoid the noise of firearms! He is my "fuzzy" little boy that hunts hard & knows when to duck behind me when I raise my weapon to harvest game!
